Dubai Walk, Future Loop (Sheikh Zayed Road)

Dubai, UAE

A bold vision to transform the urban experience. Sheikh Zayed Road is Dubai’s spine—a corridor of ambition, innovation, and economic power. Flanked by skyscrapers, home to global financial institutions, luxury destinations, and cultural landmarks, it is a district designed for scale. Yet beneath its soaring skyline lies an untapped opportunity: the potential to redefine mobility and human connection at street level.

“As part of our plans to develop the quality of life in Dubai, we have today approved a new project to transform Dubai into a pedestrian-friendly city... We redefine the concept of mobility... and we redefine the concept of quality of life... and we build a model for a city in which people live a better, happier, more comfortable, healthier and more balanced life, God willing.” HH Sheikh Mohammed

Dubai Walk’s Future Loop is a transformative urban intervention that will reshape Sheikh Zayed Road into a dynamic, pedestrian-friendly environment. This vision challenges conventional city planning, shifting the focus from cars to people.

The project will introduce:

A connected network of shaded pedestrian walkways, seamlessly integrating with public transport hubs, retail spaces, and key business districts.

A multi-layered urban experience, where bridges, green terraces, and skywalks form a continuous pedestrian flow across districts.

A revitalised Museum of the Future precinct, featuring iconic public spaces that invite people to gather, explore, and interact with cutting-edge urban innovations.

Enhanced cycling infrastructure, encouraging alternative, sustainable modes of transport while complementing pedestrian routes.

Lush green corridors weaving through the high-rise environment, softening the cityscape and improving urban microclimates.

By seamlessly connecting DIFC, WTC, Downtown Dubai, and beyond, Future Loop is more than just a pedestrian project—it is a redefinition of what a 21st-century metropolis can be. It marks the beginning of a new chapter in urban mobility, one where high-density development and human-centred design work in perfect harmony.

As the city continues to push the boundaries of innovation, Future Loop ensures that progress is not just vertical—it is also deeply rooted in the ground-level experience. The transformation of Sheikh Zayed Road into a walkable, engaging, and future-ready environment is a testament to Dubai’s vision of creating a world-class urban lifestyle where people are at the heart of the city.

Dubai Walk, Al Ras

Dubai, UAE

A journey through time, reimagined for the future. In the heart of Old Dubai, Al Ras is where the city’s story began. Defined by its traditional souks, winding alleyways, and the shimmering waters of the Dubai Creek, this district is a living testament to a rich past that continues to shape the city's identity. Dubai Walk will bring new life to this historic centre, ensuring that its heritage is not just preserved but actively experienced.

The revitalisation of Al Ras focuses on enhancing its pedestrian-first character, creating a seamless walking experience that honours the past while embracing the future.

The project will:

Restore and enhance the existing urban fabric by preserving the intimacy of its shaded sikka (alleyways) while integrating subtle modern interventions to improve accessibility and comfort.

Reinforce connections to the Dubai Creek, ensuring that walking routes along the waterfront celebrate the district’s historic relationship with trade and water.

Create vibrant, people-focused public spaces, blending traditional architecture with contemporary amenities that encourage gathering, storytelling, and discovery.

Introduce intelligent wayfinding systems and smart urban elements, making navigation effortless while maintaining the district’s organic, maze-like charm.

At its core, the transformation of Al Ras through Dubai Walk is about amplifying the district’s soul—allowing both residents and visitors to experience its heritage in an enriched, more immersive way. The project will breathe new energy into the area, ensuring that its bustling souks, hidden courtyards, and waterfront promenades continue to be a hub of culture and commerce.

This initiative aligns with Dubai’s broader ambition of becoming the world’s most walkable city, reinforcing that a sustainable, human-centric urban future does not mean erasing the past—it means elevating it.

Rabigh

Rabigh, Saudi Arabia

Today we see unprecedented change taking place all along the Red Sea coast of Saudi Arabia from the Asir region to the south all the way to NEOM in the north, at the borders with Egypt and Jordan. Rabigh now has the opportunity to once more play a significant role in the transformation of the region and capitalise on its excellent transport links and pristine coastline, to provide an offering that complements existing and planned developments nearby.

A captivating fusion of innovation and natural beauty at our newly unveiled waterfront masterplan destination. Nestled along the shimmering waterfront, this vibrant oasis seamlessly blends modern design with the tranquility of nature, creating an unparalleled experience for residents and visitors alike. Rabigh is located in a central location at the heart of the Hejaz Region, in close proximity to the port city of Jeddah and the holy cities of Makkah and Medina. Historically it had a role as a stopover for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims coming from Egypt and the Levant to the holy sites gave birth to the city in the first place.

The site today offers over 3 km of almost pristine natural waterfront along the Red Sea coast, with various edged conditions that the future redevelopment and design will aim to take advantage of. Currently, an entirely public beach with largely delipidated basic beach side facilities, the site displays huge potential for an uplift that would benefit not only visitors and future resident but the entire local community.

Our ethos for this project is underpinned by a holistic approach to design that seeks boldness and environmental stewardship; enforces a clear yet flexible community structure; and takes inspiration from the local environment of the Red Sea and the Hejaz Region. To achieve great places is to span beyond the immediate setting and acknowledge its wider potential.

The Dressing Room is a beautifully illuminated space adorned with exquisite details. Warm timbers and brass accents create a sense of warmth and sophistication, while lightly tinted glazing adds a touch of privacy and elegance.

Embracing sustainability as a guiding principle, the masterplan incorporates lush green spaces, offering a breath of fresh air amidst the urban tapestry. The landscape design harmonizes with the waterfront, featuring vibrant gardens, meandering pathways, and recreational zones that invite a sense of community and leisure.

An innovative mix of residential, commercial, and recreational spaces intertwines seamlessly, creating a dynamic hub where work and play coexist in perfect harmony. The waterfront promenade, adorned with trendy cafes, boutique shops, and art installations, invites exploration and social interaction. Imagine strolling along the water's edge, enjoying a cup of artisanal coffee while immersing yourself in the ever-changing vista of boats sailing by.

For those seeking a taste of the high life, luxury residences and hotels with panoramic views of the waterfront provide an exquisite haven. The residential buildings, characterised by modern design and sustainable features, redefine waterfront living, seamlessly blending opulence with environmental responsibility. This vibrant waterfront masterplan destination isn't just a place – it's a lifestyle, a celebration of the extraordinary.

Riyadh Overlook

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

The Riyadh Overlook project in the Al-Awali neighbourhood aligns closely with the strategic plan of the Riyadh Municipality and provides an experience currently unmatched in the city.

This project will seek to further enhance Riyadh’s natural site offerings while also fostering diverse cultural amenities, new specialized entertainment venues, and improving the ‘quality of life’ for citizens in Awali and Riyadh at large, all in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

Our Proposal places a strong emphasis on achieving an ideal balance between artistic beauty and sustainability. A Design approach that not only reflects the uniqueness of the location and Riyadh itself but also contributes significantly to maintaining this sensitive environment, which is historically critical in Riyadh’s history and preservation.

Designing a new park in Riyadh atop a Wadi with breathtaking views towards the city’s less celebrated natural beauty is a canvas of endless possibilities. Our Proposal aims to take full advantage of the site’s natural setting through activation and tactical interventions. These will reimagine the landscape, weaving together elements of history, art, and the natural world to create a place that enriches the soul and inspires the mind. Pride of Riyadh!

Our Masterplan imagines a park where every step tells a story. An Iconic museum of history nestled centrally within the park's embrace and for optimal visibility, offering a glimpse into the rich tapestry of the land and people, connecting us to our roots and igniting a sense of pride in our heritage, along with F&B, as well as retail that celebrates local flavours, makers, creatives, and traders.

As an extension to the museum, a new pavilion for astronomical observation on the easternmost edge of the overlook will recall the long tradition of the people of Arabia in observing the skies. From Crescent moon ushering the months Ramadan and Hajj to calling out the times of the prayers. This pavilion will create a unique experience of reflection and observation.

As visitors stroll along the art walk, temporary and permanent collections of art will be nestled among the lush gardens. These works of local and international artists will help invite contemplation, sparking dialogue and fostering a deeper connection to the world around us.

A fully public overlook promenade will span the entire wadi edge of the site and will offer a leisurely path to explore and edge-like thrilling moments, providing not only panoramic views but water management before it descends into the wadi.

A new camping area, secluded from the site’s activities, will provide a fully immersive experience nestled in the site’s western topographic edge while still connected to site’s natural offerings and its amenities for the citizens of Riyadh today who seek experiences.

Together, these elements create a symphony for the senses, a place where nature and culture intertwine to create a tapestry of diverse experiences. It's a reminder that, even in our modern world, there is still magic to be found in the simple act of being present in the world around us.

Our Proposal embraces the opportunity to design a park that not only serves as a place of leisure but also as a sanctuary for the soul, a place where the past, present, and future converge in a celebration of life’s natural beauty.
